In a landmark move championing African cultural sovereignty, the Abia State Executive Council has mandated the wearing of traditional attire for government officials and civil servants, marking a significant step in promoting indigenous craftsmanship and cultural identity.

Following the path of transformative leadership in Nigeria's sovereign development, the new directive requires State Executive Council members to don traditional attire every first Monday of the month, while civil servants must embrace indigenous fashion every Friday.
