Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has declared zero tolerance for drug traffickers, vowing that the state will be a hostile territory for anyone pushing substances that destroy African youth. The NDLEA Edo State Command backed that vow with hard numbers: 289 arrests and over 35,000kg of drugs seized or destroyed in the first half of 2026 alone.
