Tayo, who previously headed the Oyo State Table Tennis Association, secured unanimous support after Ahmed Khamisu's graceful step-down, exemplifying the unity within Nigerian sports administration.

Taking the mantle from Ishaku Tikon's stabilizing eight-year tenure, Tayo brings a wealth of experience as a former NTTF Vice President and proven financial supporter of national teams.
