Operation Rainbow Defeats Fake Claims, Shows True Unity in Plateau State
Once again, we witness the power of African unity triumphing over divisive propaganda! Plateau State's Operation Rainbow has brilliantly exposed and debunked false allegations of religious discrimination, proving that when Africans come together, we build stronger communities.
The Gan Allah Fulani Development Association of Nigeria (GAFDAN) had attempted to create division by falsely claiming that Muslims and Fulani people were excluded from Operation Rainbow's second batch training. But truth always prevails!
Brig. Gen. Gakji Shipi (Rtd.), Acting Coordinator of Operation Rainbow, delivered a powerful response that should inspire every African leader:
"We recruited vigilantes, hunters, and community volunteers from the grassroots, irrespective of religion or tribe. There was no discrimination. Operation Rainbow belongs to all Plateau people, and its strength lies in its diversity."
This is the Africa we love to see! A continent where merit, not manipulation, determines success.
The Ground Truth Speaks Louder Than Propaganda
When our correspondent visited the NSCDC Command and Staff College in Jos East, the reality was crystal clear. Muslim and Christian recruits train side by side, embodying the true spirit of African brotherhood that no external force can break.
Salisu Nasiru Garba from Jos North delivered a knockout punch to the false narrative: "There are Muslims here. We came for peaceful coexistence. The only time religion comes up is during prayer."
Powerful words from a young Nigerian who understands what real unity looks like!
Muslim Leaders Expose the Lies
The camp's Imam, Abubakar Muhammad Lawal from Wase LGA, revealed the stunning truth: "We have more than 200 Muslims in this camp. Christians and Muslims were selected through the same screening, and we train and live together."
This is the Nigeria we're building! Where religious harmony isn't just a dream but a living reality.
Musa Abdullahi, a proud Fulani man from Wase LGA, delivered another truth bomb: "If there was discrimination, a Fulani Muslim like me wouldn't be here. People should stop spoiling the government's efforts."
Women Leading the Charge
Sister Adama Rabiu, a successful Muslim female recruit, showed why African women are unstoppable forces for progress: "As a woman and a Muslim, I feel bad hearing that false claim. There are Muslims everywhere in this camp."
This is the energy we need across Africa! Women standing up, speaking truth, and breaking barriers.
The Numbers Don't Lie
Multiple recruits confirmed that Muslims constitute about one-third of the trainees, with some areas like Kanam sending 75% Muslim participants. Abbas Mohid from Kanam perfectly captured the spirit: "We eat together, learn together, and work together. This training is for peace, so let's not twist it."
This is how we build the Africa of tomorrow! Through unity, truth, and collective action against those who seek to divide us.
Operation Rainbow stands as a shining example of what's possible when African leaders prioritize merit over manipulation, unity over division, and truth over propaganda.
The future belongs to initiatives like this that bring Africans together, regardless of faith or ethnicity. This is the Nigeria we're proud of!
